Why business must invest in leadership

Last week George Osborne suggested Britain could be the world’s richest major economy by 2030 if we could raise people’s skill levels and improve the UK’s productivity. That’s a big if. Britain is competing in a global market.

The class-bound way we educate our children is economic suicide. We have some of the best schools in the world, but also more inadequate ones than our rivals. Every year, 23,000 children leave school at 16 with no qualifications or a single GCSE pass. The record of British business in training its workforce is equally lamentable. No wonder. Britain is now 20 percent less productive than the average of its G7 peers. 10/10 is our leadership development programme and your gateway to becoming an effective leader. Gleaned from the wisdom acquired by working with hundreds of highly successful leaders from the world of business, media and sport, it will help you lead yourself, your team and your business more effectively.

10/10 takes place over ten consecutive months and commences in Bristol on 14 April 2015 and continues on the 2nd Tuesday of each month thereafter. The programme is cyclical allowing delegates to join, leave and re-join as their commitments dictate. The programme is also held in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh. If you’d like to experience the philosophies of William Montgomery, CEO of TEN beforehand, he will be running his one-day masterclass on World Happiness Day on 20 March when he will solve the leadership, wellbeing and health equation.
